|Firefox 11 has an intriguing tool that allows you to view web pages in 3D, I say 3D but infact what it is, is a simulation based on HTML wrappers and containers. Now before you rush to download Firefox (if you dont use it) this is nothing more than a novelty and purely for fun.
Take a look at the screenshots of the forum home page.
To enable this simulated 3D browsing, click the Firefox button at the top of the browser window, select Web Developer and then Inspect this will bring up the Inspect toolbar at the bottom of the browser window.
On the right hand side of the Inspect toolbar you will see three buttons, 3D, HTML & Style. Click 3D to turn the view on.
Now, left-click and drag to rotate the page and get the 3D effect. You can spin it all the way round not only enabling you to see the web page back to front but upside as well.
Click the little close button on the left to close this feature and return to a normal view.
That killed 10 minutes, now back to work!
