Hi,
I have some trouble with my graphics card while installing windows 7.
My card is a Geforce 7950Gx2 and it reecently ''split up'' into a 7900GTX 7950Gx2. But it does work, and i read somewhere that i need to send it in for it to get fixed but f that i'll rather buy a new pc. And now to my problem, when the finishing touch of the installation is about to happen (enter user name and password etc) the screen goes black, no cursor, no nothing. Pure black. i friend told me that i could boot in safemode and enter compmgmt.msc thought the cmd and disable the 7900GTX gpu so that i run 7950Gx2. but since my pc is obviously running on the 7900GTX i can't do that. So, i ask,
How do i make the pc use the other GPU, the 7950Gx2???? This is a single card but nVidia built it out of two older cards (7900GTX) |

| But it is not, i'm dualbooting windows xp and another HDD, and there the card works fine. Except for the device manager that shows the 7900GTX. |
