Hi I hope this is the right forum, if not please feel free to move it to the right one, thanks.

I a looking for a tablet so that I can send and receive e-mails, play games like Bejeweled and Candy crush and surf the net and watch BBC i-Player.

Have looked at Kindle HD Fire but have heard the applications on it are very restrictive. It doesn't support flash apparently, I liked the Kindle fire because of it's clear resolution and the speakers it has when playing movies. I have looked at the Nexus seven, but the sound output didn't match up to the one of the Kindle.

Should I get the Kindle HD Fire, or should I bite the bullet and save up for a Apple iPad Mini? I am a little confused about this as I want to get the best for my money.

I don't like downloading books as I still like my novel's, but this would do for when I couldn't get near my PC and I could use the tablet.

Also is 16gb enough for what I want to do, or should I go to a 32gb?

Many thanks and hope you can help me with this?

spend your money on a real computer, like a decent laptop.
At least you can use that for something constructive.
Tablets have little real world use except reading e-mail, reading books, and browsing the internet. Beyond that they are a waste of time and money.

My overall view is the sale of tablets is nothing but a big confidence trick

Laptops are ok but i don't like the thought of hoisting them onto a bus, and the battery doesn't last long. Have decided on an Apple mini as they seem to have good reviews.
