Question

I wonder if anyone has come across this - I keep getting notification windows saying a particular image file is not valid. The file path displayed always changes but I think it's a google related thing. This has never happened before and is very annoying!

what software are you using to create / save these images? what is the origin of them? where are you trying to save them?

I have got windows xp on my pc. Each time this notification pops up it concerns a different file but happens during all tasks. This is an example:
The window is called "Rundll32.exe - Bad Image" with a big red cross. Then inside the window it says "The application or DLL C:\PROGRA-1\GOOGLE\GOOGLE-1\GOEC62-1.DLL is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette."

Any ideas?
Thanks

probably a rather unpleasant virus

I don't think its the kind of thing you're going to resolve through a forum

when it says "image" its not referring to pictures: its talking about installation/setup files.
