Can't display webpage? Can anybody help please?

Hello
On my main computer i dont seem to be able to get a web page up with ie7.
The computer is connected to the internet because i can get emails.
Ie just says cannot display the webpage
Can anybody help please

Hi, Welcome to the forum.
As you can appreciate, there could be a number of reasons for this, so we'll try some tests to check things.
As you are using IE7 I assume that you are using either Windows XP or Vista, Can you say which one? Also, what mail client are you using? How are you connecting to the internet? ADSL, Cable Modem or Dial up
Also, can you follow the instructions in this post and post the details.

The answers to all these questions will help us to know where to start looking at the problem.

How do you connect to the internet? Is it a dial up connection, or broadband? If broadband do you connect via a router or modem?

In IE7 click on Tools and ensure there in no tick next to Work Offline. If there is click it to remove the tick.

It would also be helpful if you can give more info on the error. You will probably have a more info link on the error page, can you post what it says when you click this link?
