Hi there

My laptop won't eject a CD from its drive. Give me an error message it is, saying that an error occurred while ejecting DVD RW E.

Can anyone offer any help as to how I'm going to get this CD out of the blessed thing?

All help gratefully recieved.

Many CD drives have a small hole in them. If so, take a paperclip and bend it until straight, then inset this in to the hole and it should release the catch to manually open the drive. Best to do this with the PC turned off, just to be on the safe side.
