Hi to every one.In my computer MB is 8S661FXM-RZ (SiS 661FX chipset) OS is XP. While deleting some files by add and remove, some thing happened accidently, and now there is no icon on screen for CD writer neither for DVD write. The computer does not recognise CD and DVD drive. When I go to my computer there I do not see icon for DVD dribe which was drive "D" and also CD dirive which was drive "F" before. Please help me how to do it again? I have IDE1 to which HD is conncted and IDE2 to which CDrom is connected. Please help me.Thanks in advance

If you go in to Device Manager, does the drive appear in there, and does it have a yellow circle with an exclamation mark next to it?

Try removing it from Device Manager, then reboot. Does this make a difference? If not are you using Apple iTunes? If so try uninstalling it.
