I've accidently deleted files on my CD-RW
What's the best software around to recover those files?
prefer programs that do not need to be installed

Thanks.

IsoBuster is one that I've heard is good. Although I would imagine it will need to be installed, most programs do these days.

Not sure what else to suggest. You could try Googling other software for this, but if this program can't retrieve it, I doubt others will.

you must help me on this one. All those programs I googled only allow a search of the recovered files but disables the recover feature unless it is paid for. I have not rewritten the files on the CD-RW and it was accidentally deleted through the erase CD function in the side panel of Windows XP and not the full erase feature in Nero.

Thanks.

If the deleted data is that important, it will be worth paying for the software.

Thank You very much for the advice, I would like to try another free program before deciding on paying for a professional recovery. Please help.

SoftStag, could you tell me, at this time, if you have any idea to solve my problem?
Thanks.

I have no "free" solution, no. Either the paid software, or enlisting a professional company to retrieve the data are my only suggestions.
