So, basically my computer bogs down with no explanation. It hasn't gotten extremely bad, but I've noticed it's bogged down more than it has too. It's been managable, but since I've gotten Alpha Protocol it has gotten out of hand.

My specs are:

RAM: 6 GB
Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M 1GB
Processor: Intel Core Duo 2.53 Ghz
HDD: 451 GB Max (What "My Computer" says.)

That's about it. Any additional information you need just ask and I'll provide it. Thanks for your help.

you probably have some kind of malware infection

I recommend you try at one of the dedicated malware / spyware removal forums such as
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/forum22.html
or
http://www.spywareinfoforum.com/index.php?showforum=18

However you MUST read their FAQs and follow their standard prerequisites BEFORE posting as they will expect you to have carried out certain tests and provide specific logs
