I have a desktop pc(zoostorm)running 32 bit vista home premium using intel 845G graphics, I have run several anti virus scans, malicious software scans and found to have no virus or any malicious software on my pc, most of the time the pc runs fine but sometimes my monitor goes into stand by and the pc just turns off, could this be an intel problem or maybe dust inside the tower, all my drivers are up to date and vista service pack 1 installed fine, my power setting are set to balanced, any ideas or possible solutions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Does this happen when you are using the computer? Or just after it has been left for a while turned on and unused? Also, is there any similar period of time after which it turns off - for example it may shut down about 30 mins after you turned it on?

I don't think this is an Intel issue, I think it is more likely either incorrect settings or possibly the system overheating.
