copying my pictures to cd

can anybody help me with this problem .

when i try to copy my picturs on my pc to a blank cd it says


windows encountered a problem when trying to copy this folder.what do you what windows to do ?

is there another way i can put them on to a blank cd

Are you using a CDR or CDRW? If it is the latter, you will have to format the CD before copying the data onto it. In my opinion, always better to use a new CDR each time.

Alternatively, you could use a 3rd party software to burn the data to CD. I would recommend CDBurnerXP Pro it is freeware.

What OS are yuo using. XP pro has some restrictions as to accounts that can burn to CD, although I would not expect a failed notice, rather a lack of privilages warning.
