I've used the evidence remover function in Revo uninstaller to clean out previously deleted files on my hard drive. However, by using a file recover
software, I could still manage to read the filenames of the deleted files although the .doc and .txt and .jpegs are not readable. How may I delete the files so that both filenames and content are not recoverable. Thanks.

I'm not aware of any software that will remove the filename as well as the contents. Normally software that permanently deletes files will write random data in to the space the file took to make it unrecoverable, but I don't know of anything that will overwrite the filename also. Probably the best thing to do is rename the file before deleting to something random, then delete with the Revo software.

Hasn't anybody in the shredding business thought about removing the file names as well?
