Hi

I'm sure this is a common problem but as I have the computer skills of the missing link then I'm afraid I need help.

Everything has become enlarged on my laptop. All the icons, all the text - everything, even the log on pictures!!!

Can someone tell me why this has happened and more importantly how I return everything to its regular size?

Thanks

Hi there

I'm running on Windows Vista Home Basic. The only new thing to have been added recently was the game "Spore" which was installed at the ned of March but this situation only seems to have become apparent in the last week or so.

OK in Vista You can increase your resolution if you right click on your desktop, click > properties > Display Settings > (adjust Resolution) > Apply.

Or Right Click on the Desktop, Click View Select Large Icons, Medium Icons, or Classic Icons.

You can also manually adjust the size of the icons on your desktop. This isn't hard but it does take a bit of coordination > Left Click on the Desktop
Hold down the CTRL key (While holding down the CTRL key) Scroll your mouse wheel up or down to adjust the icon size.

The above depends on your Vista Home Basic build No.
