I recently move my phone service from verizon to Blue ridge Cable. I find I'm no longer able to Fax from my computer, although I'm hooked up to a DEll 026 all-in one printer (Fax, Scanner). Need help to Fax.
Thank You

almost certainly due to the fax machine not being plugged into the cable connection
you need to run an extension from the main cable socket to where the fax machine is, and plug into that

I think you'll find that at present you're still plugged into the old cabling

Unfortunately this is not problem fix. I'm certain problem can be resolved by software for Dell 926 to interface with cabel. Dell 926 is an all in one printer, scanner and fax. If anyone knows where I can down load software for dell 926 that interfaces with Cabel ( as opposed to regular, analog phone service) please let me know.
Thank you,
John

John
a phone is a phone is a phone
does not matter if it happens to be going over an analog phone line or a cable, The cable will have some kind of terminating router which emulates a normal phone line, and thats where you plug in the handset / fax machine / fax printer or whatever. To your equipment its all totally transparent
You just need to plug the modem cable into the correct socket
No amount of software is going to make any difference: its a hardware issue with the wiring

and just for the record
I've checked the Dell website and there is nothing there which matches what you say. Just the normal drivers, the application software, and a firmware upgrade for the optional wireless module
