The Task Manager lets users view all of the applications, services and processes running on the computer.

It provides details about CPU usage and is commonly used to close down frozen or unresponsive programs.
But, I know of five different ways to open it, do you know of any others?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ctrl+Alt+Del - this is the most common way to access the task manager. In XP and earlier versions of Windows, this will open Task Manager directly whereas in Vista and Se7en it opens a full screen menu.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ctrl+Shift+Esc - My favorite method. Hold Ctrl+Shift then press Esc. This opens the task manger window directly.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Run - Typing taskmgr in the Run or Search box in Vista and Se7en is another way to open it.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Taskbar - Another widely used method. Right click on the taskbar and select Start Task Manager or Task Manager depending on your version of Windows.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Explorer
- The longest method and you couldnt be faulted if you didnt think of this method, its just too long winded. Navigate to C:/Windows/System32 then locate and click on taskmgr.exe

So there you have it, which is your method of opening the Task Manager?
