What are you looking for out of an upgraded graphics card? Are there any particular games you want to play, or are you wanting dual DVI outputs? Also, what is your budget?

You will need to buy an AGP graphics card for your system and these are becoming increasingly difficult to buy, and consequently more expensive than their PCI-E equivalents. I would recommend you stick with nVidia, and go for a 256Mb card. I would recommend a 6800, although this is probably outside your budget in AGP format, otherwise you can pick up some 6200 models below the 40 mark.
