I have Windows 7 home premium. Everytime I try to download a program,it asks me if i would like to save the "binary file" when I click yes, the file downloads and all seems well,
but when I click on the file after it's done downloading, It cant open. Sad An error pops up stating that It cant open the file due to hain.dll is missing. I can't even download basics such as movie maker or itunes. whats going on?!?! Question Question Question

well, u can easily download the hain.dll file, i suppose, from the internet. If i am not wrong, there is a website that gives free downloads of DLL files. Try getting one from there. Also, just a note, a binary file (BIN file) cannot be opened. Programs that can be opened are: .lnk , .exe , .bat etc.

I assume you are using Internet Explorer to download files?

I don't think hain.dll is a Windows file, so there could be something untoward going on. Can you post a HijackThis log so we can see if anything is running that shouldn't be?
