Hi!!

A few wks ago i noticed i started havin a problem with runnin my pc, it turned out i had a worm virus in my pc, that all seems to have been sorted now, (i hope), but now ive been left with no free space in my memory, i have a 70GB capacity and its tellin me i have only 1GB free space , which is impossible for the amount of stuff i have on here because ive been through the lot and deleted everything i can. i need to get my memory back asap, please please please can somebody help me with this ive dun everythin i can think of and so now im askin for online help with it.

In my honest opinion as an IT technician, I would recommend that after any infection that has had a big impact on the system, it is rebuilt. This would involve backing up all your data and then reinstalling the operating system and applications from scratch. This way you can be confident that you have a clean PC. If you wish to do this, we will be happy to give any advice you need.

Other opinions are available and others may suggest a different approach.

On my system no partion is over 2Gb. I'm using 16 bit format instead of the 32 bit.

That being said. Assuming you don't need to reinstall, there is a freeware program called Space Monger. It can help you to see visually the disk use. And it can also be used to delete files too.
