The Win8 metro apps dont have a close button but what happens is that the apps are suspended when you switch to something else so they are not using much resources, should your machine need the resources then it will close the app.
But, if you want to close an app there are a couple of ways to do it.
Move your mouse pointer to the top of the screen and when it changes to a hand icon

press your left mouse button and drag the cursor down to the bottom of the screen.

This will close the app.
Another way is press the Alt key and F4 - Yes, that still works!

And, another way is to press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to launch the task manager.
Click on the app you want to close and then on the End Task button

or right click on the app and select End Task.

Hey Guys according to my opinion there are 3 methods you can close metro apps in the new Windows 8:

1) If you have a touchscreen technology or laptop, contact your finger on the top of the display and shift it all the way to the end. It will reduce and shift the app from your way.

2) Press ALT key + F4. This will still work just like the conventional Windows applications.

3) Use ALT+CTRL+DEL and destroy the app using the process manager.

If you use LOADANIM you can use the values you give that.

If you use LOADSPRITE and then want to use SETSPRITEANIM, as long as you know how many tiles are across and down, you can then work out the tile size.
