When I open My Computer and try to open the Local Disks, instead of opening it, it redirect me to the Open with dialog box. I don't know why this happens. It is really frustrating as I either have to open it by right clicking it and then clicking explore or either from the address bar on top. Does anyone knows a solution to it???

try this
http://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2004-050614-0532-99

then run Dial a fix - ticking all the boxes and running the lot
http://wiki.lunarsoft.net/wiki/Dial-a-fix
(note - if you have IE8 installed it'll give a host of errors - don't worry just carry on)

if you still have probs then run this reg fix
