Hello

I have just installed IE 8. As a result I now have 3 problems.

1. For some reason Adobe flashplayer isn't working properly. I've tried to download it again but suspect that it only works at the moment with IE 7. Does anyone know how to fix this?

2. I have tool bar popping up on all pages saying that IE is currently running with add-ons disabled. When I click to manage these however they are all showing as enabled. Does anyone know how to fix this?

3. The computer is saying that Java script is not enabled however when I check it in Internet Options, it says it is enabled??

Thank you

Laura.

My advice is to uninstall IE8 and use FireFox 3.
It is much better, is more personalised and has better features.
Also, IE8 is on "beta" which means itis not the final release and so bugs will be expected.

My computer goes really slow with Firefox....that was the main reason for installing internet explorer. Is there no other way?

If IE 8 is in beta, uninstall it and reinstall IE 7, and try to tell the IE 8 developers about your problem, so that when it gets out of beta, you can download it again.

Though don't do it in that order, first download the installer for IE 7, then uninstall IE 8, then run the installer for IE 7. Like any fix, there's a risk (you might be left without an internet browser). The safest thing would be to try to install IE 7 without uninstalling IE 8, but I don't think it'll let you

You can't really expect Beta software to work 100% correctly. It is not final release software, so the developers are still working on it. You should report your issues to Microsoft so they can learn from your problems and fix them for the next release.
