OK am new here first post, so here goes...
I am currently with Virgin Broadband and run on 10meg, i run without a phone line.
Recently, my internet loses it connection for a few seconds, i would be signed out of MSN, web pages wouldn't display or they take a long time to load/open.
Is there a way of preventing this, Virgin have done a line test and said everything seems fine.
If there is no way of sorting this, what other possibilities would i look at to have broadband without a phone line (i don't see the point in paying the phone line rental when i have a mobile phone with enough credits).
I have looked into the satellite broadband, what in your opinion is best and will the satellite broadband cope with my internet usage (am online a lot).
Thanks guys

It sounds more like a problem with your PC rather than the internet connection.

Yes it could be my PC, but how do i go about eliminating everything else?
Also, i have my modem connected to a router, which supplied the PS3 Console and this also disconnects.
I am thinking it could be the modem or the router, they are about 14months old now.
My PC is old (new 1 soon) but if it was the PC why would the PS3 also lose connection.
Any diagnostic tools that could help?
Thanks

Try a different computer if you keep dropping connection it could be the router or modem. It could also be that there network is dropping you because of a bade NODE on there end. Just keep calling until it gets fixed and they get so annoyed they send someone to check everything.

My Model is a Scientific Atlanta and my router is Netgear.
