Hi,
I am running XP home edition, service pack 3. I am using IE8 and Google. Recently, a box keeps appearing on the screen saying "kernel32.dll". The text inside the box says that this is an error, apologises, and asks you to close the box. When you close the box, it disappears, but when you do a search, it reappears.
Regards.

The message says "Internet Explorer raised unhandled exception in third party module and should be closed. We are sorry for inconvenience". Under that message it says UNICODE; 32bit; v.1.700; Win:5.1.2600.2 (Service Pack 3); IE:8.0.6001.18702; followed by :

It seems that the problem arises when I use nectar.com toolbar. I have uninstalled this toolbar, and reinstalled it, and the problem remains.

then you've found your own answer

uninstall the Toolbar. You don't need it. Most toolbars have compatibility issues and cause problems
