I've installed the Kodak EasyShare software;
Windows 98 picks up my mom's camera as a DX4300 digital camera.
However, i can't transfer any pictures from it to the hard drive.
After telling it to transfer, or synchronize and transfer, i get a message that says that "no supported device is connected".
It also mentions something bout pressing a button on the camera dock, but i don't have a dock here for it.
However, my mom's camera is already plugged in on both ends, but still no go.
Don't know what to do next;
BTW, Windows already installed it, and i verified it in the Scanners and Cameras list...

I'm not familiar with the Kodak camera, but it might have somewhere in the settings different modes of connecting to the PC. My Nikon has one mode for connecting without the nikon software so the PC sees it as a external storage device and one mode to use with the software.

Win98 does not show the camera as a storage device, just as a digital camera.
BTW, WinXP actually sees the camera (corrrectly) as a cx4300 and even installed the software from the kodak cd (the driver for the camera).
Confused
