EMACHINES E627

I have purchased the above laptop and i have turned it on for the first time and it is failing to get past the point where it says the following
SET UP IS STARTING SERVICES.

At this point a message pops up saying the following.

THE COMPUTER RESTARTED UNEXPECTADLEY OR ENCOUNTERED AND UNEXPECTED ERROR,, WINDOWS INSTALLATION CANNOT PROCEED. TO INSTALL WINDOWS CLICK OK ,TO RESTART THE COMPUTER,,,AND THEN RESTART THE INSTALLATION.

I have clicked ok as it says too but every time it gets to the same point as above and the message pops up again and it stops at the same point.
Any help would be much appreciated it has windows 7 on it and came with no cds.

I would suggest you take it back to where you bought it and get it exchanged for a working one. This should not happen straight out of the box.

Here are the eMachines UK contact details. If you purchased from Dixons, Currys or PC World, then the store provides support. Given that the system is brand new, wherever you bought it from should swap it out.
