Hi, my computer was recently attacked by a virus, which disallowed me from using the internet. Using malwarebytes scanner, I removed the virus. However, after a week or so, my computer started lagging furiously. Frustrated, I ran malwarebytes again but found nothing. Next, I downloaded Webroot Spyware Scanner to do a full scan. I removed a trojan and Mal/Generic A, Mal/Generic B, and some cookies. Note-I used file shredder to totally shred the file.
Soon, my computer is working fine but now, when I start up the computer, the startup screen starts up slow--> the "Windows is starting up" screen takes about 5 seconds to load. Next, when Windows is loaded, programs such as MSN Messenger take an exceptionally long time to load. Sometimes, the programs may even hang the computer, often making me to "force shutdown" the computer. Besides, my CPU usage is quite high at the start log on, but lowers down at around 5 minutes' time. Please help me as I now need to take about 10 minutes to even start my first "action", such as surfing the net. Attached is the log of a recent scan by Trend Micro HijackThis.

Hi Sijie123, welcome to the forums!

It looks like there are still a few nasties in there. Please boot in to Safe Mode, run HijackThis and fix the following entries:

Arrow O2 - BHO: Thunder AtOnce - {01443AEC-0FD1-40fd-9C87-E93D1494C233} - C:\Program Files\Thunder Network\Thunder\ComDlls\TDAtOnce_Now.dll
Arrow O2 - BHO: ThunderBHO - {889D2FEB-5411-4565-8998-1DD2C5261283} - C:\Program Files\Thunder Network\Thunder\ComDlls\xunleiBHO_Now.dll
Arrow O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [360Safebox] "C:\Program Files\360Safebox\safeboxTray.exe" /r
Arrow O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [360Safetray] "C:\Program Files\360safe\safemon\360tray.exe" /start
Arrow O23 - Service: 360 ??μ걷?t?? (360rp) - 360安全中心 - C:\Program Files\360sd\360rp.exe
Arrow O23 - Service: nProtect GameGuard Service (npggsvc) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\system32\GameMon.des.exe (file missing)
Arrow O23 - Service: Sandboxie Service (SbieSvc) - tzuk - C:\Program Files\360\360se3\Shield\SbieSvc.exe
Arrow O23 - Service: ??ˉ (ZhuDongFangYu) - 360安全中心 - C:\Program Files\360safe\deepscan\zhudongfangyu.exe

Now reboot in to Normal Mode, and see how it is. Please post another HijackThis log.

Also, you seem to have a lot of AntiVirus/Spyware software running. These will slow down your PC. I would recommend running AVG and Spybot only.

Dear Softstag, I dont think that some of these files that you posted were malicious software as some are alright in my view, like 360safe and that sandboxie thing. It is because I downloaded the software from a good reputable website. Besides, I also use that software to remove viruses. Please review the reply thank you. Feel free to leave whatever you want on the system. These files have been known to be part of malware, although the specific ones on your PC may not be, it's impossible for me to tell. I suggest you remove that software.

As I mentioned in my previous post, you have too much security software running, your system performance will be being impacted.

Through your previous posts, I decided to go online and search viruses in those files. However, my overall conclusion with them is that they are quite safe to use. Next, I went into the C:\Windows folder and was shocked to see a Sytem32 folder right below the real System32 folder. When I tried to delete it, it shows that files like anistio.exe is in use. An online search reveals that it is a virus. However, all my anti-virus products cannot detect any virus from it. I tried to delete it but to no avail, using the command prompt, using file shredder, and also tried deleting it from safe mode. However, all the results were same, files were in use. I also tried to kill the process, explorer.exe, and remove the file, but there is totally no use. Please help.
P.S. Just to confirm, the folder is called Sytem32, no typo errors.
P.S.S By the way, I am going to remove the many anti-viruses after I am sure that my computer is clean. A log is also attached.

If you want to delete a file/folder that is in use even when you try the above, the easiest way to do it is to boot with the Ultimate Boot CD and go in to FreeDOS and delete from there.

Dear softstag, I can confirm now that I have other viruses in the computer, Win32:Zbot and Win32:Dl so I suspect the attack was a Dwloader.Trojan, I ran Hijackthis but the results did not show anything suspicious. Also, I went to regedit to check for loading of the viruses at start time. However, nothing was found. By the way, my Avast antivirus detected traces of the virus on almost all my other antiviruses, except Dr.Web, which has internal protection. My sytem32 folder was also removed by an application called Unlocker. Pls help.

I have given advice already, however you have chosen not to follow it. I can see evidence of malware in your HijackThis log.

The following entries are of particular concern. I would recommend fixing these in HijackThis from Safe Mode, and deleting their corresponding files.

Arrow O2 - BHO: Thunder AtOnce - {01443AEC-0FD1-40fd-9C87-E93D1494C233} - C:\Program Files\Thunder Network\Thunder\ComDlls\TDAtOnce_Now.dll
Arrow O2 - BHO: ThunderBHO - {889D2FEB-5411-4565-8998-1DD2C5261283} - C:\Program Files\Thunder Network\Thunder\ComDlls\xunleiBHO_Now.dll
Arrow O23 - Service: 360 ??μ걷?t?? (360rp) - 360安全中心 - C:\Program Files\360sd\360rp.exe
Arrow O23 - Service: nProtect GameGuard Service (npggsvc) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\system32\GameMon.des.exe (file missing)
Arrow O23 - Service: ??ˉ (ZhuDongFangYu) - 360安全中心 - C:\Program Files\360safe\deepscan\zhudongfangyu.exe

Note: Multiple anti virus software can cause conflicts that cause issues with your system. It is not recommended to run in this configuration.

Sorry for the many threads but now there is a problem with my graphics card. Whenever I try to switch resolutions (due to full screen activities), my computer becomes slow. Sometimes, usually after a minute or so, a BSOD comes up. I have removed the malicious objects as stated by you, but it does not help. Can you please help me?

Can you post another HijackThis log. Also, can you tell us the error on the BSOD?

As for the BSOD, it ususally happens when I have to switch resolution in games. The most severe case is when I play Wolfteam, by Softnyx. Whenever I load a game map after joining a game room, it takes a long time. Next, when I enter the game to play (i mean to do real action), usually the BSOD happens. It started to happen after I removed some files by using GridinSoft Trojan Killer. I removed files from the folloeing locations:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Thunder Network\APlayer\Codecs\mpc_mcuclfu
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Thunder Network\APlayer\Codecs\mpc_mcufilecu
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Thunder Network\APlayer\Codecs\mpc_mdssockc
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Thunder Network\APlayer\Codecs\mpc_mtcontain
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Thunder Network\APlayer\Codecs\mpc_mtcontrol
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Thunder Network\APlayer\Codecs\mpc_mxaudio
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Thunder Network\APlayer\Codecs\mpc_mxrender
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Thunder Network\APlayer\Codecs\mpc_mxscreen
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Thunder Network\APlayer\Codecs\mpc_mxshbasu
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Thunder Network\APlayer\Codecs\mpc_mxshmaiu
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Thunder Network\APlayer\Codecs\mpc_mxshsour
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Thunder Network\APlayer\Codecs\mpc_mxsource
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Thunder Network\APlayer\Codecs\mpc_mxvideo
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Thunder Network\APlayer\Codecs\mpc_wtlvcl
C:\Program Files\MousehuntToolbar\toolbar
C:\WINDOWS\System32\kdfinj
C:\WINDOWS\System32\mfc45
C:\Program Files\360safe\修复工具.exe
C:\Program Files\360safe\first aid\Superkiller.exe
C:\Program Files\360safebox\Guardfield.exe

All the above files are .dll files

Also, can you please tell me whether
C:\WINDOWS\System32\kdfinj
C:\WINDOWS\System32\mfc45
are good or bad files. By the way, I realised that my system now is quite unstable, especially immediately after I removed those files. However, although my system is slightly better now, it is still unstable. Cases like explorer.exe can often crash but does not go missing when the task is ended, and things like system hang occurs very often. Even as I am typing now, the system hangs twice. Pls help. Thx in advance. Rolling Eyes
