Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone can help?

When I have just logged onto my computer, a message automatically pops up from notepad which says "[.ShellClassInfo]
LocalizedResourceName=@%SystemRoot%\system32\shell32.dll,-21787"

I haven't got a clue what this means? can anybody help in explaining what it is, how to fix it, etc...? I thought it might have been caused by spyware but I've run checks and this still hasn't gotten rid of it.

Please help!!

Hi,
GIYF (Google is your friend) check out this Microsoft support document. It would appear that you have a desktop.ini file in your start up folder somewhere. If you are a fairly basic Windows user, I would recommend using Method 2 to fix it.

Regards.
