| Ok so recently I got a headset, everything was fine until yesterday when I vent onto ventrilo and no-one could hear me. I checked everything was un-muted and made sure my mic was selected in volume control for recording. I've been through volume settings more times than i care to mention but still nothing happening. When I go to speak on ventrilo people can hear static and sometimes the noise coming from my headphones like itunes if im listening to music but not my voice. I checked to make sure I didn't have stereo mix selected as recording method and I don't. Help? |

| Fist thing I would want to do is rule out the possibility that the mic itself is damaged. Test a different one and rule that out first. |
