Hi

I have just been going through my external hard drive and found this file, in a folder that wasn't there before. The path is:
I:\ae84670fdd582e56c7244617bc0c5b\msxml6-KB927977-enu-x86.log

The file is a text file and is full of meaningless stuff. Is it a virus or something? I know I didn't put it there. I'm worried what it might be!

Help me SoftStag! Mr. Green

This is nothing to worry about, you can delete the folder and file. It is a log file created by one of the Windows Updates (MS06-071: Security update for Microsoft XML Core Services 6.0). Microsoft state that it is a known issue that such log files can be left behind.
