OK. I was running Norton until my internet provider "BT" offered me there new and free protection from Mcafee. On the same day as I installed mcafee and un-installed Norton my computer began crashing. It makes an Ughh Ughh Ughh sound then the screen goes black with blue splurges and then the computer re-starts. I'm not sure if this is a problem due to my new anti-virus software or something else. Other recent changes to my PC include a new web cam. An MSN Messenger and IE update and I am now also using 2 monitors from one hard drive - however I am not dual screening I have just simply used a vga splitter so that i can watch my films on the tv. The error messages are as follows.............

OS Version: 6_0_6001

Try using the Norton Removal Tool to fully remove Norton.
