I'm running a Windows 98 First Edition computer. A friend gave me a HP Photosmart M547 camera, but none of the software for it will install. I mainly need to transfer pictures to my computer, so I installed your generic USB driver. The camera is set to "disk drive", but no icon shows up in My Computer or Windows Explorer. In Device Manager, a yellow question mark labelled "HP Photosmart M540" does show up.
I'd appreciate any help you can give,

It sounds like the camera is not a standard Mass Storage device; in which case these drivers will not work with it.
What error comes up in Device Manager for this? _________________ "Microsoft programs are generally bug-free.
