I downloaded and installed nusb33e.exe for the Kingston DB100 1GB USB flash drive for Windows 98SE, version 4.10..222A, the same number shown on the Technical Assistance website. There were no error messages (e.g. no competing USB 2.0 drivers). When I go to My Computer with the Kingston drive plugged into the USB port, it doesn't show up on the list of drives. My computer brings up other brands of flash drives. It doesn't work on my desktop or my laptop, a 1999 Compaq Presario 1685. The Kingston flash drive works fine on another laptop with Windows XP. Any suggestions? Thanks so much for your help!

The drive is probably formatted with NTFS, and Windows 98 cannot read this. You may find a solution in this thread:
