|

I've just moved my works PC from another office. Had to have a new user set-up as using a different server. Since then all emails I send & receive are in "Plain Text" format even though I've chosen mail my mail format as "HTML" via tools>options.
The IT person here has no idea why it's doing this!
Any ideas how to fix this? |

Try the following:
Click on Tools then Options
Click on the Preferences tab at the top
Click on Email Options
Remove the ticks from Read all standard mail in plain text and Read all digitally singed mail in plain text
Click OK on the open boxes
Does this help? _________________ "Microsoft programs are generally bug-free. Unfortunately no! Those two boxes were already unticked.

Odd. Try ticking these, then clicking on OK for everything, then untick them again. It could be the settings are set, but for some reason are not showing.
Failing this, I wonder if it is a corrupt installation of Outlook. Can your IT people reinstall it to see if this helps? _________________ "Microsoft programs are generally bug-free.
