|
|
Hi. My problem is that I accidentally tried to open a PowerPoint show attachment from Outlook, but without PowerPoint installed. It defaulted to Adobe, but the problem is that the 'Use this to open this type of file' tick box was ticked, and now I am unable to change the default application for ppt files. Anybody any ideas how to revert back to being asked, or how I can change which application opens it from within Outlook?
Thanks in anticipation. |

Right click on the ppt file and then Open with then Choose program. _________________ "Microsoft programs are generally bug-free. Hi
I've tried that, but it only gives Open, Save as.. there is no option to 'Open with...' even right clicking with the Shift or Ctrl key does not give that option.
Thanks for trying. |

Save the file to your desktop, then do the instructions I mentioned earlier. When you choose the program, you can set the program to choose as the default. Then when opening ppt files from Outlook, or anywhere, they should open correctly. _________________ "Microsoft programs are generally bug-free.
