|

Hi, I'm with Tiscali IP, I use a Toshiba Lap-Top; and ever since I've had the computer, when-ever I need to set or Re,setup after rebooting the computer OutLook Express! I have problems getting it working properly again! Can I remove outlook express - using the add & remove programmes and then reinstall the new version? Is this a good idea? or is it better to continue to try rectifying the problems with outlook error messages?
Thanks

You can't download Outlook Express as a standalone program to install. If you install all the Windows updates on your PC, then Outlook Express will be updated to the latest version with Internet Explorer.
You don't say what the issue is with setting up the email in OE. It should just be a case of entering the correct settings for your email account and it should send and receive from it. _________________ "Microsoft programs are generally bug-free. if you keep needing to reload your machine because of software problems, then your best option would be to abandon pop3 mail such as Otlook Express altogether, adn instead use Tiscalis (now TalkTalk) webmail service.
That way you don't need to worry about your settings |
