Not sure what this file is. Google doesn't show much about this file. Do you think this file is causing a problem on your system?

Ever get an answer to this?
I have this and also another PLFset.exe

Really unhappy with the performance of my new Acer laptop. Hoping to find out why it is so unstable and slow (shouldn't be; 2G ram and almost nothing loaded yet)

I'm curious about this one... Can you let me know what model of Acer laptop you have? Also, have you tried disabling this to see if it has any impact on anything?

Apparently, PLFset stands for something in Russian, as Googling PLFset.exe only gave me russian websites.

If you go here and select your PC model, you can download the drivers for the TV Tuner and install them from there.
