Are there any better USB download managers, I've been using "Portable Wackget", and I think it's quite slow.

I've never heard of a portable download manager - what do they do? Mr. Green

A download manager that you could run from a USB flash drive on a PC without having to install the program itself. That's not a good definition but I hope you get the idea.

I do not use this kind of software, however from what I hear Portable Wackget is one of the best.

Using such software to download from multiple PCs is probably opening you up to all the virus and trojan infections your are having.

Thanks. I guess this means that if you have a big download you can continue it at work or elsewhere. Although, I'm not sure why you would want to do this, with the size of flash drives, it doesn't take that long to download a full flash drive, even on my 256kbps connection! lol Mr. Green
