I have downloaded the new media player 11 and since doing so I have not been able to write a music cd. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled media player 10 and the problem is still there. I have used the media player to copy a photo disc and it has done this. Also when i insert a blank cd my computer doese not recognise the bland cd and sows it as having no space on the disc. I have also reinstalled my media driver.
p.s. some of these tasks I have had help with by someone who knows more than I do ablout computers....but in the end I still have a problem
Hope someone can help. I have also tried to write the disc on my nero program and it still dosen't work. I have a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo laptop.
Thanks

The fact that the PC can't write to a disk in either Nero or WMP suggests that it is not a problem with WMP. I would first try a different brand of blank CD, also make sure that it is of a type compatible with the drive.
