I installed xp onto a pc which had Vista before. after installing i got the network adapter 1394 net adapter saying it works howevr I cannot connect to internet or cannot connect to network orjoin to domain.

I am not very good at this kind of thing so help would be GREATLY appreciated.

This is referring to your Firewire port, and it is unlikely that you are using it to connect to any kind of network.

Where does this error come up? Is it as you log in to Windows? Can you let me know the []exact[/i] error?

Never mind it turns out it was a problem with my Internet Wire. Thanks for trying to help though.
