Hi ive got a question and i wonder if you could help.

Basically i bought a game for my pc CnC the first decade and i tryed to install it.

The problem is my comp wont pick up any sign of the fact the disks in the drive, it just wont read it.

I have 2 drives a DVD drive and CD drive ive tried it in both and it doesnt work. I thought for a while it might be the disk but i have 2 of the same disk and they work on every other comp ive tried them on which is a few i dont understand why not on my own comp though.

My disk drives play every other game i try and it used to play this one but then i had to reboot my system and now it doesnt work at all

any help anyone could offer on this matter would be highly appreciated.

CnC: The First Decade comes on DVD, so it won't work in your CD drive. Do other DVDs work in your DVD drive?

When you say you are missing the drivers, what do you mean? Where are you getting this information from?

Can you tell me what drives are showing in My Computer? Are the CD and DVD drives there?

in device manager i have 2 yellow question marks next to RAID controller and USB SERIAL BUS (USB) controller

when i go to my computer i can see both of my disk drives and they work fine with CDs and certain games but it wont play DVDs or The first decade. :S

im begging to wonder if my DVD drive has burnt out but on the other hand i can play games such as red alert 2, (single disk although included on TFD aswell) without any prblem and i would assume if it was the DVD that had burnt out it wouldnt play that either.

If you go in to the properties of the 2 devices with a problem, what does it say under device Status?

Also, I think Red Alert 2 comes on 2 CDs, so if the drive is playing CDs and not DVDs then this explains it. It sounds to me like the DVD drive itself is faulty.
