hi to anyone and everyone.
i have a boot sector virus. identified by nod 32 as:
MBR sector of the 1 physical disk contains probably unknown TSR boot virus (7)
if pc is left for 5-10 mins screen shows wallpaper only, then goes to account user password screen, then have to click on user name, fill in password, to get back to normal operating stage.
any help or advice greatly appreciated.

If you have a virus, then you should install some anti virus software to clean it from your system. I would recommend using AVG, it's free and very good.

If you have AV software already installed, do not install a second one without uninstalling the original one first. Multiple copies of AV software can cause big problems.
