could you help me clean this one up to and look for virris and spyware

With regard to the Runtime Error that you are getting, these can be difficult to identify. Do you get these errors when you are doing anything in particular?

I would also make sure that your system has the latest Windows Updates installed, as outdated files can cause these runtime errors.

OK, done a little research on this and it could be to do with Norton Confidential Helper. Try disabling it with the following instructions:
Go to Tools then Internet Options
Click on the Programs tab, then Manage Addons
Highlight Norton Confidential Helper and set to Disable
OK everything and restart IE

I think this is related to the addons for IE. I would first try uninstalling you Verizon toolbar, see if that makes any difference, and if not uninstall Adobe Acrobat Reader. You should be able to uninstall both of these from Add/Remove Programs.
