| I've created customised Windows 98SE installation CDs in the past, mostly by adding msbatch.inf files that load specific configurations of the operating system with little or no manual intervention. Now that I've successfully installed Windows 98 USB Mass Storage Device Drivers (nusb33e.exe) on a spare drive with a test installation of Windows 98SE and convinced myself that it works, I'd be interested in "slipstreaming" it into a custom CD so that it installs as if it were an original part of Windows 98SE, not as a patch that is applied after installation. Is this possible? If so, how would one go about doing it? |

Interesting idea. I'm sure it's possible, but I have no experience of doing this. If you know what you are doing you can probably unpack nusb33e.exe in to it's relevant files and use them to replace existing files in the installation.
If you manage to do this, please let us know how! _________________ "Microsoft programs are generally bug-free.
