Hi,

wondering if someone could help me?

When I turn my laptop on it takes about 10 mins for it to boot up!
it logs on fairly quickly but I then have to wait for everything to load before I can use it in anger!

I run CCleaner every day to remove temp files and such and clean the registry.

Could it be the amount of programmes it's starting on boot up? There are a load on my tool bar at the bottom? If so how do I make it stop trying to load up all these programmes when I boot up??

Any thoughts, suggestions will be gratefull received!

Ta

Yes, it's probably down to programs loading at startup. What version of Windows are you using?

Check this thread for disabling programs from running at startup.
