after loading generic usb driver nusb33.exe had full usage of usb devices in win98se -is cool-only problem is that now the windows taskbar is acting goofy-the taskbar is acting as if the "keep on top" option in the taskbar properties settings is unchecked-the taskbar gets hidden behind internet explorer window and open folders and it is necessary to minimize all windows to see it-turns out the new version of the explorer.exe file is causing this behavior-i have replaced the newer version loaded by the usb upgrade (6.00.3612.1700) with the orig version i had before upgrading the usb drivers (6.00.3110.1)-the taskbar now seems to behave normally and usb devices still seem to work-question is -does anyone know what (if any)problems may happen by using the older version of explorer.exe??-thank you for your attention Very Happy

I've not seen this problem happen before, and I've installed the drivers on many systems. The older version may have some compatibility issues with USB devices, but if it works for you then it should be fine.
