Bought one of these yesterday and i cant transfer some pictures to it ( i got it to send pics to my wifes digital picture frame).
Many of the pictures when i click on them to send them to the drive, come up with a new window saying that it was unable to write the required files to the drive, permission denied or something.
Is there something i can do with the pictures to allow them to be sent to the drive? |

can we just go over this and try to understand what you're doing?
I ASSUME you have a card reader plugged into your PC, and that you have removed a camera card of some kind from the camera and placed it in the reader? Or are you doing something else?
Next question: what version of windows are you using? And how are you trying to access the files on the card? in later versions of windows you often get user permissions kicking in, restricting direct read / write access to camera cards.
Instead, use the Windows Scanner and Camera Wizard - thats why its there |

May be the error lies in reading of the card or it can be an error in the card reader itself sometimes these are the ports that are not functioning properly or you may need to read/write on it using media wizard which will guide you to the rest of the way. For enhanced and complete solution follow
