one of my USB ports has stopped working how easy are they to replace my PC is AMD ATHLON 64X2 DUALCORE PROCESSOR 5000+2600 Mhz thanks for any help

It depends whether the USB port is physically attached to the motherboard or not. If it is, then you'd have to replace the motherboard. If not, then there will be a cable coming from the USB port to the motherboard, chances are that it's loose not a faulty port.

Sometimes reinstalling the latest mobo chipset driver and reboot may correct the USB problems.
