I want to transfer data from my current computer (Windows 9Cool to a new computer. After downloading the appropriate driver, do I need to use a flash drive which is compatible with Windows 98, or can I use a later model which supports the newer Windows operating systems? Your help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

If you install the Generic Mass Storage Drivers for Windows 98 then most flash drives will work in Windows 98. Later versions of Windows should automatically be compatible with flash drives. So long as the flash drive is formated with the FAT file system (virtually all are by default) then you can use the flash drive to transfer files between Windows 98 and newer versions of Windows.
