Hello,

I'm trying to move data off of a Windows 98 computer. The two options that I have found so far are 1. Email the data. or 2. update the device drivers to support usb devices (the computer sees the usb device but doesn't find a device driver for it). My issue with 1., is I don't know of a e-mail service that supports IE6. If you do, I would be very grateful if you would answer. 2. This seems rather complex and I'm concerned about what happens if it doesn't work. Any advise on option #2 or another option would be appreciated. Thank you

how big is the data, and what do you want to move it on to?
Several options
Burn it to a CD
Write to a floppy
Mount the hard drive in another machine and copy it disk to disk...
transfer it over a network
transfer over ethernet using a crossover network cable
setup a direct cable connection using a virtual modem cable (depends on what you want to move it to)
