I was wondering if you could help me with getting this to work properly.

Basically i want to use it to dictate text into Microsoft Works Word Processor 8.5, trouble is when I do, it doesn't recognise commands only dictation. When i try to correct text, the Sp.rec program displays a message saying that whatever command i've given is not available at this time?!

It seems to work ok with other programs - ie giving commands to switch or close windows, select a menu option or even shutdown. But during my use of Works WP it seems to have problems. Since getting this laptop a couple wks ago i've not installed any programs as such. I've used a music program called Muzys 3.14 which doesn't install anything as it uses it's own OS (why can't all programs do this as it doesn't affect windows in any way?)

I've also created a selective startup, and basically sorted out my HDD with loads of samples, VST's, and other files that do not have any bearing on windows.

So basically I have a new laptop with the preinstalled programs but the Sp.rec software doesn't seem to work properly. Is it me? I can't seem to find any settings to control how it works apart from 4 settings. The top 2 are self explanatory, the 3rd is totally incomprehensible to me and the 4th sort of makes sense but not too sure exactly what it means. I looked on MS site but couldn't find any help on this.

Thank you in advance

This is not a feature I've ever used. Might give it a try if I get the time.
